报告题目/Title:
Aging Research and New AI Approaches
讲座摘要/Abstract:
Aging is a fundamental biological process that underlies many of the world’s most serious diseases, including cancer, metabolic disorders, and neurodegenerative conditions. Calico Life Sciences, founded in 2013 by Google (now Alphabet) and led by CEO Arthur Levinson, is at the forefront of efforts to decode the biology of aging. Under the leadership of Chief Scientific Officer Michael Lenardo, Calico’s academic team is leveraging advanced technologies and model systems to investigate the molecular and cellular mechanisms that drive aging and age-related diseases. Recent advances in artificial intelligence (AI) are transforming the landscape of biomedical research. This talk highlights how Calico is integrating AI into aging research, andexplores how these innovations are shaping a new era of science focused on extending human health span.
