吴凯丰,中国科学院大连化学物理研究所研究员、博士生导师、研究组长。2010年获中国科大学士学位,2015年获美国埃默里大学化学博士学位,之后在美国洛斯阿拉莫斯国家实验室开展博士后研究,20175月加入中国科学院大连化物所,入选多个国家高层次人才专项。担任 J. Phys. Chem. Lett.ACS Energy Lett.Ultrafast ScienceChin. J. Chem. Phys.Chin. J. Chem.等国内外期刊编委。

主要研究领域是低维光电材料(量子点等)的激子、载流子与自旋超快动力学及其在新型能源和量子技术中的应用。迄今以第一/通讯作者身份在ScienceNature Mater. 2篇)、Nature Nanotechonol.3篇)、Nature Photonics3篇)、Nature EnergyNature Commun.6篇)、JACS/Angew/Chem/AM26篇)等刊物发表学术论文近百篇。曾获得2023年科学探索奖、2023年中国科学院青年科学家奖、2022年日本化学会Distinguished Lectureship奖、2021年美国物理学会Future of Chemical Physics Lectureship 奖、2020年中国化学会青年化学奖、2019Elsevier出版社Robin Hochstrasser奖、2018年美国化学会Victor LaMer奖等。

Dr. Kaifeng Wu obtained his B.S. degree in materials physics from University of Science and Technology of China (2010) and his PhD degree in physical chemistry from Emory University (2015). After his postdoctoral research at Los Alamos National Laboratory, he moved to China to start his independent research in 2017. His current work focuses on the ultrafast spectroscopy of carrier and spin dynamics in low-dimensional optoelectronic materials, as well as relevant applications in quantum information and energy conversion technologies. He is the winner of the 2023 Xplorer Prize, 2023 CAS Young Scientist Award, 2022 Distinguished Lectureship Award by the Chemical Society of Japan, 2021 Future of Chemical Physics Lectureship Award by the American Physical Society, 2020 Chinese Chemical Society Prize for Young Scientists, 2019 Robin Hochstrasser Young Investigator Award by the Chemical Physics journal, and 2018 Victor K. LaMer Award by the American Chemical Society. He serves on the Editorial Advisory Board of J. Phys. Chem. Lett. and ACS Energy Lett.


讲座摘要/Abstract:

胶体量子点是一类溶液法制备和加工的低维半导体材料,它具备丰富的光物理和光化学性质,在量子信息和能源技术领域具有广泛的应用前景。我们团队近年来基于先进的时间分辨谱学方法,系统研究了量子点的超快光物理与光化学动力学:发展了圆偏振瞬态磁光技术用于研究自旋动力学,观测到激子精细能级劈裂与量子拍频新机制,初步实现了自旋室温相干操控,对室温量子技术发展具有重要意义;深入系统研究了量子点-有机分子三线态传能机制,基于此开发了高效率的光子上转换体系,并与有机光催化融合,实现了快速高效的太阳光合成[3];直接观测到量子点-有机分子杂化自由基对的自旋量子相干特性,基于该自旋相干效应初步实现了三线态光化学反应的高效磁场调控。

Colloidal quantum dots (QDs) are small-size, quantum-confined semiconductor nanoparticles made in solution. Their rich photophysical and photochemical properties could enable broad applications in quantum information processing and light-driven energy conversion. We investigated the ultrafast photophysics and photochemistry of QDs using advanced laser spectroscopy. We developed transient magneto-optical spectroscopy to study the spin dynamics in QDs, in doing which we have observed a new mechanism for exciton fine structure splitting in lead halide perovskite QDs and achieved room-temperature all-optical initialization, manipulation and readout of hole spins in perovskite QDs. We uncovered the fundamental mechanisms of triplet energy migration from QDs to organic molecules, on the basis of which we have achieved high-efficiency triplet-fusion photon upconversion and triplet-fusion solar synthesis. Finally, we directly observed the spin quantum beats between the singlet and triplet configurations of radical pairs constructed from QDs and molecules, thus proving the genuine quantum nature of these hybrid radical pairs, which allows us to manipulate a photochemical reaction using a magnetic field in an efficient and quantum-coherent manner.
