个人简介


  党波波,陕西宝鸡人。2010年毕业于南京大学,取得理学学士学位。2015年获得芝加哥大学博士学位,期间运用蛋白质化学合成技术研究离子通道配体蛋白。2015-2019年在加州大学旧金山分校从事博士后研究,运用蛋白质设计、生物展示技术开发新型蛋白结构,发展前沿蛋白研究技术。党博士于2019年全职加入西湖大学任研究员。


学术成果


  现代生物医学研究日益复杂,学科交叉往往能给生物医学研究注入新的活力,开辟新的方向。本课题组运用化学手段开发针对复杂生物体系的研究工具,并以重要蛋白为靶点开发新型蛋白质探针、大分子药物。过去的研究成果包括综合建立离子通道配体蛋白(动物毒素)化学全合成、特定位点标记的方法,用于研究离子通道在细胞内的作用机理以及动态构象变化,并以蛋白质化学合成、偶联为基础开发出新型光控神经元激活方法,为光遗传学研究提供全新的技术手段。也运用蛋白质从头设计方法开发出由共价小分子作为蛋白质核的超级稳定蛋白结构,并以此结构为基础开发蛋白质抑制剂,设计HIV疫苗。
  未来课题组将围绕蛋白质工程,综合运用蛋白质化学全合成,蛋白质设计,高通量蛋白质筛选等方法一方面开发蛋白质研究的新型技术手段:包括蛋白质特定位点偶联、修饰,蛋白质高效化学切断,新型蛋白质合成方法;另一方面针对靶点蛋白,开发多肽、蛋白类大分子药物。
