主讲人简介/Biography:

Jianxin Lin is now a Ph.D. candidate in Physikalisches Institut-Experimentalphysik II and Center for Collective Quantum Phenomena in LISA+, Eberhard Karls University Tuebingen. He got the Bachelor degree 2013 and the master degree 2016 in Shanghai University. He won the best invited presentation in 2015 ASEMD international conference and the best presentation in 2018 DPG Young scientist conference. He has published papers in Superconductor Science and Technology, Advances in Manufacturing.


讲座摘要/Abstract:

SQUIDs (superconducting quantum interference devices) are macroscopic quantum objects which are capable of measuring a wide range of physical parameters with unequaled sensitivity. During the last decade, research on nano Superconducting Quantum Interference Devices (nanoSQUIDs) has gained much interest, mainly with the aim of measuring the magnetic moments of very small spin systems. Direct current (dc) superconducting quantum interference devices (SQUIDs) are the most sensitive magnetic flux detectors known so far.

In my talk, firstly, I will show you basis properties of Josephson Junction and SQUIDs. Then, I will report on the fabrication and characterization of nanopatterned YBa2Cu3O7-x (YBCO) dc SQUIDs based on MgO bicrystal substrates with 24 misorientation angle. In the same time, long time stable and high performance nanoSQUID with more interface will be discussed. Last but not least, high-Tc magnetometer with the sensitivity around 1 ft at low frequency, which bring a lot of application scenarios like Magnetoencephalography (MEG), Magnetocardiography (MCG) and so on will be illustrated.
