Qicheng Tang is now a Ph.D. candidate in Physics, Westlake University, under supervision of Dr. W. Zhu. He got the Bachelor degree in Tomsk Polytechnic University 2018, and awarded for Best Bachelor Thesis. His research interest includes: 1). New numerical tools to simulate the strongly correlated systems, including MPS and PEPS; 2). Thermalization in quantum dynamics; 3). Conformal filed theory, which is related to the criticality and holograph.



讲座摘要/Abstract:

Conformal field theory (CFT) has become a profitable tool as a diagnosis of critical phenomena in two dimensional statistical models. In this seminar, I will introduce the basic concepts in 2D CFT, and show that the finite-size scaling behaviors can be obtained by conformal mapping. Motivated by this, we find that the dynamical entanglement spectra demonstrates distinct finite-size scaling behaviors from the static case. The entanglement spectra scales with the subsystem size L as 1/L for the dynamical equilibrium state, much faster than 1/logL for the critical ground state. In particular, the entanglement spectra at the long time limit faithfully gives universal tower structure of underlying CFT, which shows the emergence of operator-state correspondence in the quantum dynamics.
