主讲人简介/Biography:
Xiaoyong Hu is a professor in Department of Physics, Peking University. He obtained B.S. degree and M.S. degree from Hebei University, and PhD from Institute of Physics, CAS. His current research interests include photonic crystals and nonlinear optics.
讲座摘要/Abstract:
One of the promising ways to realize high-speed and low-energy-consumption information processing is using photon as information carriers. In this talk, some works of our group in third-order nonlinear optical materials, photonic crystal logic devices, and integrated photonic chips for computing applications will be introduced.
